WORKSHOPS - I might have sounded yesterday like I am opposed to workshops. Not so! If you have a choice between a new camera and a new lens and an outstanding workshop led by an outstanding leader, I believe that the workshop hands down will do more to improve your photography than either of the other two.

@Anita: Absolutely the key is outstanding. In over 60 yrs. of photographing, I have only 3 or 4 that qualified.
