"There Can Be Beauty in Death"

One of my goals at almost 83 yrs. of age is to age gracefully and to see death as the next stage of life.

I hope when I'm your age I can still get out and shoot beautiful photos like you do!

@B. Thomas: Thanks, Barb. Fortunately Corvallis is surrounded by the magnificent McDonald Forest on the north and west. And the Central Oregon Coast is just an hour away. My days of serious travel are over. However, I have no regrets. I have backpacked, ocean kayaked, mountain biked, road biked and hiked
all over the North American West (from Mexico to the Arctic Circle).

An image of great beauty.

A beautiful photo with a beautiful thought accompanying it as well. I echo Barbara's sentiment about being able to get out and photograph the world if I get to live into my eighties.
