"Rain in the Coast Range"

Posted by

Lizzie and I went out two weeks ago to hike in Fitton Green. We left the parking lot with a few sprinkles. Then when we were walking along the ridge and looking west, it first darkened and then you could see these pale sheets of rain coming down. Mary's Peak is the dominant peak. It was not too bad for Lizzie and me, but when we got back to the car, it came down in buckets.

The clouds bring great drama to the landscape and misty veils of rain also add to the atmosphere.
