"Beaver Family"

"Beaver Family" Ellie and I were at Snag Bend on Tuesday. Along the hike, we passed a large beaver pond where we came upon this beaver family. Mom is on the left. Dad is on the right. The babies are on the log. In one shot of the babies, which I will post later, I counted 7 babies. When we came to the pond, after a few minutes, I saw the mom swimming and then, the dad. The parents quickly swam over to the log where the babies were. (More to come.) (PS - It is way more interesting if you click on the thumbnail and enlarge it.)

I've never been able to see a whole family of beavers like this. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice shot. We have the first beavers back here after many centurys. :)

Great capture. I find it very hard to get any shots of beavers because they don't come out much in the daytime. I've never gotten to see any babies.
